Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteers have always been an integral part of our program. Children have the opportunity to meet and interact with friends in the community, and have philanthropy modeled in the classroom. Additional classroom help allows for more one-on-one attention for the children.
Volunteer opportunities include:
- Interactions in the classroom
- Front office help
- Kitchen/food prep
- Yard work and landscaping
- Upkeep and maintenance
- Board membership
Opportunities range from one time visits to consistent visits depending on your interest and availability. Volunteers must be 12 or older, are never left alone with the children, and are always supervised by a Center employee.
Our volunteer program is certified through the United Way of Greater St. Louis Volunteer Center.
