Our Classrooms

Our classrooms are designed to meet the needs of children at each specific age group. Materials empower children to develop and learn through exploration. Children use all five senses to learn, so the environment must be stimulating on all levels. Classrooms incorporate art, music, science and sensory, math, large block, manipulatives, dramatic play, community belonging, and literacy areas. Each classroom is equipped with personal storage space and hand washing sinks.

Our Facilities

In addition to classrooms the center has two gross motor rooms (indoor play space): one for the Infant/Toddler and Twos Program, and one for the Preschool Program. The gross motor rooms allow for large motor play on hot, cold, or rainy days. These rooms also serve as an area for teachers to work with small groups of children throughout the day.

The center has (3) state of the art playgrounds, one playground for each age group. Materials and equipment on the playgrounds are age specific and adhere to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commissions Handbook for Public Playground Safety. The playgrounds are designed to be outdoor learning environments, incorporating areas for art, music, science and sensory, dramatic play, and large block building, in addition to large motor play. All three playgrounds include climbing areas, trike paths, sandboxes, and sunshades.
